An emergency dead deer removal call came in from Cos Cob, CT. The homeowner was leaving the house when she noticed a dead deer behind her bush on the side of her home.
The homeowner had just come home from vacation and didn’t notice it because it was dark out. She noticed it the next morning while leaving to go run errands.
We went out and could tell the deer had been dead for a couple of days. The back end had been eaten. So that means the coyotes had already gotten to it.
The deer could have been sick, attacked or hit by a car and stumbled behind the bush for safety.
To avoid any coyotes or turkey vultures from swarming the area we sprayed a disinfectant on the area that the deer had dies in.
